Ever since reading that chikni headline by Jang which comically stated“Salman ka sitara gardish mein aagaya” while reading the contents of the same thread, I have come to the conclusion that we are better off keeping that attention-seeking magnet off Yasir. The guy just started his new life, and we don’t want him to end him in the next edition of that yahoodi Waheed Khan’s article, promptly labeled as “Salman kay baad ab Yasir ka sitara gardish mein aagaya”.

I sincerely hope Taufeeq gets dropped and is forever banned from playing for Pakistan. I still remember the trouble which Balaji caused him when he was bowling to him...and I can never forget that. Imran Farhat, Salman Butt, and Shoiab Malik can fight it out for the two opening spots. Asim will probably be dropped...aI really do hope Gul gets picked over Rao because im sure Gul can do way more damage on England wickets considering they are seaming wickets.

Good to see fast bowling squad. I am sure we will match their bowling attack. I am somewhat happy to see Bazid and Asim there. Hopefully one of them will make the final cut.

I’ll tell you why not. Better yet, I’ll tell you what Woolmer/Inzi said. “We have better bowlers than them”. You see, it will take decades of languishing on the domestic scene before our U19 bowlers can aspire to the dizzying heights and standards set by legends such as Rao, Sami, Arshad etc.

I think injecting them in the A’ team is the right way to make them better professional cricketers, the trio of last WC-19’ are all included in the A’ team probables. the days are long gone (with some exception) where you see a youngster impressed a selector in a club game and he was called for the camp.
I voice again for Sami (will come good “I think” ) and Rao they are good bowlers, maybe not the best of the crop but they are decent backup, Rao troubled Gilchrist last year when they toured Kangroo-land in a VB game but he was unlucky to get a wicket, I am pretty confident they will come good in the england tour if selected. as for Arshad I can say if they can make him part of the team then why not Saqi now that he is fit and playing for Ireland.
