Pakistan got their World Cup campaign back on track Sunday when the 1992 champions downed Zimbabwe by 20 runs to claim their first win of the tournament.

^^ To all the critics, in 92, we registered our first win against Zimbabwe and we lost to west Indies (in opening match) by 10 wickets and we lost to SA and we were all out for 70 odd runs against England and lost to India as well.

The team we won against in 92 were, Zimbabwe, New Zealand and Australia.......so we won three league matches, then won one semifinal and final against England...

And if my memory serves me right, none of our losses were after fight, we lost all the matches with huge margin and apart from NZ's league match win, it was more or less Zimbabwe kind of episode.

Not that i am saying that we are going to win this world cup, but just letting us know that in 92 world cup our performance was more or less the same, had we not got rain point and Aussies didn't beat west indies.. we were not in the qualifiers for semi-final, we had 7 points and to qualify for semi final 8 were required...
