My point is that the kind of candidates PPP has (mostly landlords) and their economic policies (socialist; BISP, etc) are geared towards lower strata of our population and it is in their own interest to keep them underdeveloped.

PML(N), MQM and PML(Q) appeal to middle class traders, small farmers and businessmen and are not threatened if development takes place in their strongholds.
