I was talking about openers, did mention the ODI thing tough. Anyway, if we look at Test, we will see that for Australia players like Hayden, Langer and Jacques open. They are openers who have an attacking mindset; they set the pace of the game. Our openers are not that horrible that we need to replace them with someone who barely has an experience as an opener, just because we have seen him play defensive does not mean he will make a good opener. As an opener, you must have an attacking mindset, not the like that of ODI but something that means you will set the game and give platform for your middle order batsmen. Our openers, namely Butt, Farhat, Hameed and Umer have done that in past, its just that they need more grooming and guidance on how to play certain deliveries, how to approach certain games and how to execute their plans together.
