Pakistan has 4 points of 2 matches with no loss so far. SL has 4 points of 3 matches cuz they lost one. But SL has a higher NRR 2.63 vs Pak 2.16. it is too early to look at this kind of rankings because the tournament has a long way to go!

its proving to be a high scoring tournament with bowlers from every side taken to the cleaners even by the tail enders. In that context, dil dhaRak DhaRak kar riyaa hay :o

The most interesting thing is Pakistan us the highest runs (778) getter in pool A and minimum runs (516) giver!
**PAKISTAN Difference => 778 - 516 = +262 **(surplus runs Pak has won by)
The second highest runs getter in Pool A is Sri Lanka,
**Sri Lanka Difference => 744 - 541 = +203
**
Now over all most runs getter in the tournament is England, but most runs giver as well:
**England Difference => 961 - 959 = +2
**
Now compare South Africa who are on top in pool B:
South Africa Difference => 574- 342 = +232
** Now this specific analysis can reflects the brilliant performance by PAKISTAN

^^ well pak are yet to play Aussies and Kiwis...if Pak can show same performance against both teams (meaning win by decent 20-30 runs or 3-4 wickets) then I am sure they can maintain a bigger margin with Zimbabwe and hence maintain top position.
However, as they in urdu "ab aayee kay tab aay" a failure from pak is inevitable and on the cards so don't get your hopes too high....
The biggest positive sign so far is that on field Pakistan is showing a sign of involvement...even though in batting they have issues and as well in fielding (dropped catches).
So........pray for the best, be ready for the rest! :D
