I don't think so, we can't afford to lose our two best (afridi/malik) allrounders in the same match.
Welcome back Razzaq! You came at the right time i.e: ODI
Team should be:
Butt
Hameed
Malik
Younis
Yoyo
Inzi
Razzler
Arafat (afridi in last four ODI)
Akmal
Rana
Akhtar
I think this is the best combo for ODI. Batting extended till last man and with 4 fasties/seamers and remaining 10 overs between parttime spinners Malik/Younis/Butt.
the should play .Asif for the odi's he took 10 wickets in the warm up game againest england. the only reason they are not playing him is because of his poor debut. by the way smooth guy do you have a nickname for every paki player
In past there were threads where every player was awarded a nick name… for example after scoring a ODI century against HK, Younis Khan was called Younis- The Youseless - Khan
yea well after that he has been shttin on every person who ever called him that, these types of dirrogitory nick names and stuff really piss me off. you people really get personal, and with the performances Younis will continue, he will still be shttn on whoever called him that!!!
Hmmm, using the super sub will be interesting. I don't think Sami warrants a place. Danish also usually doesn't play ODI's but considering how poorly England played him, I think he can be the super sub.
Why bring back Hameed? He's a tried and tested failure againt quality bowling...he needs to go back and learn where his off stump is. Arafat is a good inclusion but I think Mansoor Amjed would have been the perfect replacement for Afridi...a legspinning all rounder. Plus he has been in a great form as well in domestic cricket. I think its about time Asif get a chance ahead of Sami.
Jazba bahi, dont you love the fans mentality… Younis Khan was “Useless” Khan, Shoiab Akhter was " drunken Khota" , then Younis singlehandedly beat India with 265 and Shoiab won this series and all the same fans are suddenly huge Shaoib\ Younis fans. Oh yeah we ALWAYS thought they were great players
Similarly today the same fans deride Sami and Malik and so forth, yet I have a feeling they will be cheering them after a good performance.
One would think cricket fans would be more loyal to their team.
