Pakistan is behind Sri Lanka in both forms of cricket, Australia being no. 1 in both forms. Pakistan shares 3rd spot in ODIs with New Zealand, both accumulating 116 points, while in Tests Pakistan shares 5th spot with South Africa with 100 points.

Good show but I am afraid Pakistan won't be retaining the number 3 slot when the season will actually start for them in November this year. Pakistan will play their first ODI in december and NZ on the other hand will be playing a triangular series in Zimbabwe featuring India as well next month. NZ will be playing 5 ODI mathces during the Triangular. South Afrcia will also be getting a chance to narrow down the gap since they will be competing with NZ in October/November in a 5 match encounter.

Good for Pakistan. They can continue winning, and thus improve this ranking a lot more. I guess in test they are ranked 5th.
