Pakistan need a bowling coach

I think Pakistan need a bowling coach for the young fast bowlers.
When Wasim and Waqar were around it was easier to groom he young bowlers but now as we have seen what is happening with Sami… he is just trying to bowl with pace not with line length and there is no senior bowler in the side who can guide him. Ofcourse we have Shoaib but he does not play all the matches and he himself has a hot temper so I think our team need a bowling coach. Wat u guyz think…

i agree 100% :k:

Not sure about Pakistan. May be they do.

Though I must say, West Indies, certainly need a bowling coach. Man! does their bowling suck? Gosh! its so pathetic. And to think that once upon a time, not long ago, they used to have the most fearsome bowling attack in the world. I hope Pakistan does not end up that same way. shudders

Every team does. It always helps if you have one experienced guy telling you what do do and what not to do specially when you have so many youngesters in team. Hiring Reid definitly helped India.

yeh we do need a bowling coach, a man called **WASIM AKRAM ** whose services r being wasted, wat a talent and pak aren;t taking advantage of his experience

yeah sure, bring wasim akram back as coach so that every young guy in the team can learn how to play SATTTA at international level… i guess it is very imortant and he should groom our players plus as a coach, he would again be able to participate in SATTA by himself…nice suggestion. i really admire it. his “talent” is really being wasted by pakistan board…thank you sir.

If a team has a batting coach and a bowling coach then what is Javed Mianded for.

Well I would have agreed had the present coach made Pakistani Batting more reliable.
Is it that Javed being a batsman himself can not coach his players to perform consistently in terms of bating or maybe Pakistani players can not be coached ?

I dont think a seperate bowling coach is the answer. What we need instead if s "qualified" coach. Period. Javed is not a qualified coach. Jalauddin and other coaches have only passed 1 and 2nd grade coaching courses. We only have one coach who has studied and completed all the coaching courses, and that is Waseem Hassan Raja. I dont remember if he was dumped from the team or if he left because of his teaching assignment but the fact is he's the only Pakistani to have done it all in coaching.

Good news is that the new PCB chairman intends to create a coaching academy and wants to professionalise the coaching sector in Pakistan. Lets hope we replace Javed with a professional, when we do.

nobody can be better then Wasim Akram :k:
