I dont have an issue if someone demands the fee for say, extra luggage, but when it goes into the pockets of the staff, then i do have an issue.

Ok! Now i get you, do not have extra luggage, is best way. In case u have, ask for proper receipt for the money…thats how the money is not in their pockets…
