prime example is Army or may its foundation runs largest logistic network in the country NLC
. if its even a private business then why they dont even bothered to register these vehicles as private ones, and pay taxes for registration and road taxes. all of these has army registrations but its sole use is business and making profit. they are using public roads they should also pay taxes as well. its a commercial organisation.
similar goes to FWO.#
as far as armymen working after retirement, its also common everywhere they work in different organsiations in UK US and other countries. they just dont highlight their army titles but in pakistan they do mention as kind of pride.
I have worked with few project managers in my company who are ex UK army colnals. so its not a taboo. but its how they get jobs in pakistan, they dont apply or go through any procedure, they just get appointed. :) as head of this head of that ****e. I am sure some of them are capable doing civillain jobs better too its just the forced appointment procedure. how on earth a capable person has to go through so many public service exams to acheive that and then one army retired baba comes in becomes a head of the department.
