As of latest Pakistan’s ranking has moved to 7th in Tests. Seven seems to be the lucky number for Pakistan at present. Only a single bowler and a single batsman appears in the Test rankings and they also appear at number 7.
Previous season saw Inzy in one of his best performance blows; Younis Khan (ranked 13) is one other player who was very close to the top ten. Despite his absence from international circuit for almost a year, Shoaib Akhter was the only bowler from Pakistan to have made it in top ten; though he lost a lot of points for missing matches. Danish Kaneria (ranked 12) was the only other bowler who was close to make it into the top 10.
