inzamam bad captinacy when it was even stevens what does inzy do he brings back rana, he give away 14 runs in that over and that over took the game away from us. bad fielding. bad umpiring.

Inzi is the one to take the blame. He is the one that brought in Rana instead of Asif or maybe Shoaib or someone else.
In his interview he is blaming the fielding for the loss

Well no doubt, it was a horrible day at office for Rana but as I have said many times before and I will repeat it again, when you are playing on these pathetic Pakistan pitches (absolutely batting paradise), please do not expect your bowling department to deliver the knock out punch (unless it is waqar younis or wasim akram bowling the last 10 overs). You have to score above 320 to put your opponents under pressure. PERIOD. Only then, you can expect to take wickets on a regular basis because your opponents have a big score to chase and they are under pressure. Therefore, the entire blame lies on Pakistan batting which somehow is not clicking at all. Yousaf, Inzi, afridi, Akmal all of them have not scored a single fifty in this series so far. As a matter of fact had it not been malikās heroic performance in all three matches, we would have lost these matches in 40th over.
Now does it reflect that Indians are bowling better than us? Not at all.. That is the key point. We are simply throwing our wickets away and that is really disappointingā¦..We need to concentrate and make sure we have enough wickets in hand till 40th overā¦.On the contrary, in every match, we lose almost half of our batting cream before 20th overā¦.We want to be world champion but the key point is consistencyā¦once again, we are getting complacentā¦.Anyway, lets hope for the best in the next two matchesā¦.
The reason I am hopeful is because Pakistan is still scoring close to 300 with none of his big guns scoring at all whereas from the Indian side, almost every one is scoringā¦.Therefore, Inshallah if we focus little better, we can win the matchesā¦..
I would say, do not make any changes to this teamā¦this is the best Pakistani team we have at this pointā¦.Trust Rana, he will bowl better in the next matchā¦he was trying too hard to get a wicket in last overs and ended up bowling too many full deliveriesā¦.Not every one can bowl like great Waqar Younis when it comes to bowling those in-swinging yorkers in death oversā¦.
Another thing, I am not feeling good about Inziā¦I have a feeling that he has some psychological problem because of his injuryā¦.He is not as fluent as he used to be and I know that Inshllah it is temporary problemā¦.The great big man will soon overcome these problems to deliver an innings of his caliberā¦

No need to blame anyone. Yes there are thosand things that could have been avoided in the match but lets not start blame shifting in middle of a series. This is the time to back our players and hope that they get in form (specially Rana).

With all due respect PD this is a apthetic excuse. Rana Stunk, he lost the match. Look at Asif, he is only 23 and has played handful of matches and bowls like a mature veteran. Its all between the ears and Rana seems to have lost it along with his hair.
You can blame Inzi and Woolmer for crazy arse batting lineup. They should open with Shoaib Malik and Butt, followed by Younis Khan, Inzi, Akmal, Afridi, Yousuf, Razaq and so on. It gives the hacks such as Afridi (see Dhoni's innings) to play their strokes without being pressured about protecting the wicket. You cannot fire all of your bullets early and expect to win the match.

So what if rana gave away 72 runs in 8 oversā¦.we did not lose the match only because rana gave away so many runsā¦.just look at the Indian bowlingā¦ Zaheer gave away 36 runs in 4 overs and sreenath gave away 74 runs in 10 oversā¦.these 14 overs were disappeared for 110 runs ( 8 runs per over)ā¦what I am trying to say that on these batting pitches, do not expect each and every bowler to bowl goodā¦.pathan and raina bowled really well for India and Gul and asif bowled really well for usā¦So as far bowling is concerned, both teams performed pretty much at the same level but the reason we lost the match is because we did not have enough wickets in hand in last 8 overs and Indians kept their wickets intact despite losing 2 wickets earlierā¦.trust me, 30 more runs would have done the trick and Indians would have lost the match under pressureā¦.India never had any pressure as far as run rate was concerned and therefore, their players never had to take any riskā¦

At times even the best bowlers will be blasted, look at Murali Tharan he went for 99 runs in 10 overs. Rana definitely has a problem, he is bowling too short. But we lost the match bcoz of poor batting, very poor batting.
Either we need an aggressive opening batsman like Saeed Anwar, which i don't think we have. The option left is to let Butt and Akmal open. Kamran was doing well. He was playing Pathan's swingers quite well, till made a mistake. Shoaib at number three is doing good job. Yousuf should be at number 4, and Younus at 5, Afridi 6 and Razzak 7.
Inzimam shoud not be playing the next two matches. He is NOT fit, both physically and mentally. I still cannot think why the hell he played being unfit?
Is he scared of loosing captaincy to Younis, if Pakistan had won in his absence?
