IMO, **Education **is the single largest problem of Pakistan. Somehow we have to educate the masses.
Leave alone to people who are illiterate, even the people who are literate (including myself) and have opportunities to learn more don't do expand their vision. During last 7-8 years I have done projects for US Govt agencies and couple of universities in NC and I have found that Chineese and Indians are always willing to (and looking for) ways to get more education while we just got stuck with whatever degrees we have.
Sri Lanka has 100 percent literacy rate but it has same kind of issues we have. No Education is not the issue. The people who are corrupt and criminal have big degrees in our country. The people with master's degree are committing armed robberies back home.
**Abbadi *sab sy bara masla hy.* Since Pakistan ky sab ameer ghareeb, Mulla moderates aik bat per tu muttafiq hain ky "bachy Allah ki dain hain" Meri dua hy Ya Allah is so called Muslim Abbadi ky Atom Bomb" ko tu hi rok sakta hy qudarti toor per Muslim bilkhusoos Pakistan Abdi ki rok tham ker in ki fertility kam bl ky do bachon ky baad khatam ker dy Ameen:(mery Maulla meri yeh dua bhi sun ly baqi duaon ki trha Amen Sum Ameen Kion ky kam hon magar sudhry hoy Muslman hon tu woh Islam or Pakistan ko kuch faida puhncha sakty hain InshaAllah
P J Mir is pretty high on my list. I wish every time I see him that he goes and and does a bit of investigative journalism in Waziristan. I'd personally tie an imam zamin on him. for protection.
The biggest problem is the lack of honesty in this country! Acute shortage.
I agree to you. I have seen so much corruption and dishonesty. You can get a grave in those grave yards which are closed officially but if you pay bribe you can get it. This is hight of corruption and dishonesty. People pay bribe to go to Hajj or get Hajj visa it is highest degree of corruption.
Army, Musharraf, I don't agree with this, yes may be Jahalat is one of the biggest problem but the most biggest problem or the root cause is " corruption at every level"....

The biggest musala of Pakistan is not corruption/democracy.....It's the supremacy of law....corrupt politicians tend to act freely because the law does not take them to task.....dictators tend to play havoc with the constitution of the country and the judiciary facilitiates them....justice is bought and sold in Pakistan for the individuals who can pay the right price.....if we want to go any furthur as a respectable nation....judiciary has to be independant free from any pressure.....and should be competent enough to establish the rule of law in Pakistan...//

Yes. Unfortunatley, what had happened recently was that the free judiciary took its powers beyond its remit, by trying to be the* 'legislature, the executive, and the judiciary'*
It seems in Pakistan, no one wants to follow the lines of demarcation. Everyone wants to be the absolute leader.

....but Aalsi...stictly in legal terms....without mixing your personal feelings with the law....could you please explain who acted against the law in this case....it's time we stop supporting illegal actions by any individual....no matter how much is our personal liking...and let the law take it's due course.....I remember you advocating at the time of hearing of legal cases against the legitemacy of Presidency of Musharraf....about respecting the verdict of the judiciary by all and sundry...before your dictator acted illegally to impose emergency rule....and you changed your stance over night to justify this gross illegality...

Exactly.
You will find Mush/MQM supporters will come up with all kinds of justification to excuse his corrupt and power hungry rule
