Two or three students used whatever material they could aquire on the night of partition, and were stitching it up until the early hours of the morning, Mash’Allaah. One of them tore up his green shirt.
Were these the students who came up with the idea of the cresent and star, spontaneously, or was it pre-mediated by someone else?
Pakistani flag Dhaka se ’aaya’ hai, jab All-India Muslim League ko form kiya gaya tha to UnhooN ne Green color ka flag use kiya tha, with a white crescent and star in the center. Jo ke us ba’d 40 years tak istamaal hota raha.
Jab July 18, 1947 **ko announce kiya gaya ke Pakistan ki demand ko accept ker liye gaya hai, to **Liaquat Ali Khan ne Pakistani flag ko present kiya tha.
Aur tab unhooN ne kaha tha *”....This flag which I have honor to present to this House, will stand for freedom, liberty and equality for those who owe allegiance to this Flag of Pakistan.....this flag will be a flag of freedom not only for the people of Pakistan; this flag will be an emblem of peace and help in maintaining peace throughout the world." *
