**India and Pakistan are to play a one-off limited overs match to celebrate 75 years of the Indian Cricket Board. **
The one-day international will be played on 14 November in India although the venue still has to be confirmed.
India wanted to play Pakistan because when the cricket board was formed in 1929, both countries were part of an undivided India.
Earlier this year, India played a Test and one-day series in Pakistan for the first time in 15 years, winning both.
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shaharyar Khan said: “India wanted us to play a series of three matches as part of their jubilee celebrations in November. But we opted for the one-off game.”
Since the historic series in March and April, India and Pakistan could play each other three more times in the coming months.
They are in the Asia Cup, which starts on Friday, and could meet in the final.
They are also set to play in a triangular one-day series in Holland in August and will meet in a group match in the ICC Champions Trophy on 19 September.
