If Palestinians in the shape of Mehmood Abbas want peace with Israel, then Pakistan’s not acknowledging Israel makes little sense.

I don't know about accepting Israel but I would like to know what surety Musharaf have that if PAK accepts Israel than there will be good relation between PAK and Israel? It could be after PAK accepts Israel they will ditch PAK like Amreca did?

how can you relate pak-isreal relations to something like getting ready to accept isreal. :~)
and abt mahmood abbas, well all i see is this that he alone is kissing usa and isreal ass. everyone else is as determined as ever to get their land back. :~)
Israel is an unlawful occupation of Muslim land! Pakistan should not accept Israel!

You arent following events closely, alot of discussions are going on right now, on how to permeate the nation so that it accepts the decision of the Government in recognizing Israel. Musharraf has talked about it, and they are getting ready for some radical changes in the foriegn policy. Programs such as these just dont pop up because of our long lost love for Israel.
We should do whatever's best for the people of Pakistan. If accepting Israel is beneficial for the country why not? Arab countries all have good relations with India so what's the difference?
i wish pakistan had more people like you, can we be more catholic than the pope (as musharraf said)...if some arab nations have accepted israel (egypt, qatar, uae) why not us?

Good Point Xtreme. Iraq and India were langootia yaars for many years. There are thousands of Indian businesses in Baghdad and all over Iraq. Now, that USA has invaded Iraq, India is trying to keep it's distance. But the truth of the matter is that India was more friendlier then Pakistan was with Iraq.
