Pakistan is now clubbed with Afghanistan

Previously Pakistan was always clubbed with India. Now Pakistan is clubbed with Afghanistan. US appointed Richard Holbrooke envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan and will have a separate envoy to India. Now Germany appointed a special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan in an effort to intensify Germany’s engagement in the region.

Pakistan had always resisted being clubbed with India. So this is a welcome
move for Pakistanis

Germany names special envoy for Pakistan

Appointing envoys seem to be "in" thing these days ..... another one to join the club .......

Re: Pakistan is now clubbed with Afghanistan

May be because there is a ‘conflict’ relationship here :ahaa:, before it was between India and Pakistan (re Kashmir)… more clues? did I kill your short lived happiness?

Hahahah, so true.
I thought it was easy enough to understand why same person is looking after Pak and Afghanistan but where did that CLUB thing come from???
You are so good at creating masala headlines saregama, good chance to join Hindustan times or Times of India

Re: Pakistan is now clubbed with Afghanistan

Even more reason for US to attack pakistanis & pakistani land freely as our coward and shameless army looks on from their bunkers!!! I used to be proud of Pak fauj 10 years ago!! :-(

Because US also realized that India is a rising power and Pakistan is descending into anarchy. They need to be handled differently.

Re: Pakistan is now clubbed with Afghanistan

as long as Pakistan is messed up....India's growth will always be impeded

Pakistan has to be stable for India to rise

Its as simple as that

Its in India's interest to see a strong, and stable Pakistan

Re: Pakistan is now clubbed with Afghanistan

^ Very true. I couldn't agree more.

However, Pakistan's stability is in Pakistanis' hands. Very little India can do about it. So we have to try to keep growing despite Pakistan.

I wonder why they didn’t give the shared responsibility of Enjoy to Sudan and Pakistan? :hmmm: :ahaa: they are not in direct conflict.
