i think the articles on the internet hold little credibility. books by responsible authors present a clearer picture. as fallenpieta said, Gen Niazi's book is good and "The History of the Pakistan Army" by Col Brian Cloughly (UK Army Retd.) is a well written book and will ggive you good stats as well.
and, i dont think there are any indian soldiers in our jails from 71.
If India could maintain their positions on Pakistani Siachin Glacier since early 80s, why couldn't Pakistan hold the 18 posts on Occupied Kashmir? Was it so hard?
