I am watching the giant slalom on TV live ... right now at # 12 pakistan got #96!

^ did they even show him skiing? the tv stations tend to only show the top contenders, and then go onto another sport.

Pakistan's M Abbas number is 96. and right now its #59 ready to ski.

No they didn't ... just showed the first 30.

yeah TSN is showing…M Abbas needs to have a difference less than 2.19 in respect to Carlo banka…whose time is 1:17:27. and the 30th skiers time is 1:19:46.

pakistan didnt qualify. in fact he completed his with a difference of 21 seconds.
but still its was really a honour that he atleast go for it. Hats off

I was hoping for a top 30 finish, but oh well… still good to see that his status wasn’t DNF (did not finish) or DSQ (disqualified). Hopefully, a top 30 finish in the next olympics, and better things to come thereafter.

canada barely made it into the top 30...
but good job for muhammad abbas! at least pakistan has a name out there now.

He made us proud by carrying the pakistani flag 
and then giving his best during the competition
Winning or losing doesn’t matter, with more practice insha-Allah he will win many medals for Pakistan in future.

and good thing about his current status is he didnt DNF, DNS, DSQ even in the second run. his current standing is 79 
…and india is 81
