Re: Pakistan in 2020 (stats)
As per my calculations based on EIU/IMF data of a projected economic growth rate of 5.5% per annum and population of 2% per annum, it 2020 Pak will have the following stats.
Base is $150 bn (real terms), thats the IMF figure (approx.) (2007)
Economy: $270 bn
Population: 198 million.
In terms of PPP rates, base of $504bn equals $908 bn.
What do you guys think of this projection?
