Base is $150 bn (real terms), thats the IMF figure (approx.) (2007)
Economy: $270 bn
Population: 198 million.
In terms of PPP rates, base of $504bn equals $908 bn.
What do you guys think of this projection?

By 2025/2030, even at 5.5%, adjusted for PPP, Pakistan should enter the trillion dollar economy bracket.

You can at least treble these estimates if Zardari becomes the PM and stays in power until 2020. I can't wait for Zaradari to win the by-elections and become the Pakistani PM.

according to my calculation: if the current population of pak is :162,508,000
with the growth rate of 2% in 12 years total pak population will be 205.46 million.
and economy with the figures you mentioned above will be : 285.18
are you calculating for 11 years?

Perhaps we used different bases.
Plus, the data isnt so different. I also gave PPP data (estimates). :)

^^ mullahs are in minority, they will not win. and Pakistan will inshallah exist always until the end of this world.
2020 5.5% growth can only be sustained, if there no massive corruption money drain, earned by economy and moved abroad by lunatic leaders.
and Pakistan is capable of sustaining nearly 7+% growth now if the current situation of blasting every innocent is stopped sooner.
There is no comparison with india in terms of size of economy but we have lesser people, and area to develop infrastructure. with pace of economy Pakistan can develop infrastructre and improve the life of masses quicker than india.

Yea, taking a lone of 400 billion yen from Japan (thats just one of many) and having to beg from caritas, red cross, unicef for the poorest. No wonder they are far ahead from us.
Lets not forget the pollution stats..far ahead there too!
