How do you see Pakistan in 2010? Yes, just 3 years from now.
Will Mushraff still be incharge? How will be the economy? Job Market? Social Values? Changes in Print and Electronic Media? Relations with India? Relations with US?
I am sure we can visit back in 2010 and see if any of it came true.

If the US is till supporting Pakistan, as they have since 9/11, Pak economy will be fine, no matter who is in charge.
If the US dumps Pak, as they have done before, we will go back the begging bowl.

Get out of slumber. US now has too much on its plate. US public is greatly divided about war with Iraq. US govt is also contemplating recruiting Non- American soldiers in US Army..This clearly indicated the divides that have appeared in the establishment on account of mindless excursion into Iraq. New Iraq strategy about increasing troops in Iraq hasn't gone down well with its own langotiya yaars like Britain and Australia.
Pakistani establishment need to really bring everybody on board that fruits of 9/11 are not going to last forever.

To the topic at hand:
Economy may not grow at 6%, it could be 10% or 4%, but Musharraf is still going to be there as long as he is alive and no 'plane' explodes in air.
Milk could be Rs 45 per litre, per capita income might be 20% from where it is now.
Not much drastic change in electronic/print media. Relations with India aren't going to change much, relation with US are going to be sour by then.

Why do you think that would be? What do you think the US provides which keeps the Economy afloat, and what is missing when the Ammericans arent aorund that causes the country to return to the begging bowl?

Most of the countries in the world would colapse, if turning against mean US applying full restrictions through UN as it did for Iraq.
and its not all 9/11 effect, how long you will be beating this drum for??
my personal view is Pakistan will not very much different what is it now with just few projects completed, nothing major i would say, but Pakistan will stay on course for healthy growth.
