No. 3 and No. 4 did very well.

No. 4 was best.

No. 3 had a huge advantage due to his voice and accent.

No. 2 chose wrong qawwali, but did well.

No. 1 was fine.

^I have listened to Aalamgir and Tehsin Jawed (in person-privately) singing Dum Mast Qlalndar Mast Mast, which No. 2 sang and even they are good singers, they could not sing that well either.

So No. 2 in my opinion rightfully stayed.

He was hadiqa’s chamcha according to her he is the most sureela singer among them all and she would like to do a duet with him once Pakistan Idol ends.

who is you favorite from top 3? I want shoaib to win.

Very difficult to decide at this point based on above video.

No. 1 was rightfully eliminated, he is a good singer but he was painfully off notes many times in this part of the contest, and ate the words.

Yes, Shoaib did great!!

Hadiqa has acted irrational and unpredictable at times.

And he was smart. He did not sing something at high scale. And I did not see anywhere he went off notes. He was fully in rhythm and confident.

Agreed what you said about kashif.He was lucky to get this far.

From top 3 zamad baig (No 3) has a good voice but he is not a versatile singer.
Ali asad’s (No 2) voice is suitable for rock/pop songs whereas Shoaib (No 4) admires NFK and tries to follow his style of singing, he was criticized for his sargam before many times but this time he did it well.

I have not seen episodes since December last year so missed all those events you are talking about. Will watch those someday.

I will listen to Zamad in particular in those episodes.

It will be interesting if Shoaib stays through next competition.

I think in Pakistan there is so much variety of music that choosing one person who can sing all kinds of songs seems unfair.

There is a need for choosing best singer of one style each.

So Karam Abbas khan was the ustaad here. Interesting. He tried to sing like Asad Amaanat Ali Khan. great but so impressive.

He sang classic with modern music but these two opposites did not match...despite a good and difficult effort.

I think Zamad will be gone in next round. Its going to be Shoaib vs Ali Asad Zaidi & Shoaib will win. Thats my prediction.

Also listen to Asad raza sonu, I think he was eliminated too early from the show.He deserved to be atleast in top 5 and I wanted to see how he dealt with the pressure in this part of the show.He was one of my favourites from top 10.

I was surprised to see only two girls in top 10 out of the 8 selected which means boys are more sureela than girls :hehe:

I don’t like singers who can sing only in one style :nook:
