What the guppies make of the outfields on Pakistani grounds, especially Qadaffi Stadium & Faislabad? There is hardly any grass on them which I suppose can cause injuries to players when fielding.
If you see outfields in other countries especially Australia or England - you would see the lush green outfields. Even the club grounds oufields in these countries is far better. These suppose to be international stadiums and they look so horrible.
By the way I am not Indian and don’t try to compare them to Indian pitches. Indian grounds outfields may not be as good as those in Australia or England but I assure you they are much greener than those in Pakistan.
Any reasons why we have so dull outfields ? Is it due to weather conditions? Lack of water or other facilities?
England and Australia play their cricket in Summers. Pakistan and India do very well to maintain the green look during the severe winter months of Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb.
Cricket is supposed to be played in different conditions. This is one of the many variables. Get on with it.
^ amen. we can't get Pak out for under 600 because our bowlers are useless. iNSTEAD of blaming the pitch, how about getting some good bowlers.
OK so why could Shoab who by many counts is an elite class bowler, couldn't dent any? because the Indian batting was simply too much.285 for 5 to 600 is too much to be a fluke. You make 40,50, may be a 100 120 by fluke...not 300+
Stop blaming the pitch. Your game strategy cannot be by building a intelligent track that will adjust your score and bowling mojo. Your strategy has to adjust to the pitch...if you have the talent
