My uncle was with the Pakistan Embassy in Dhaka during the Awami League’s rule in the 90s. The Awami League let RAW openly operate there, following Pakistani diplomats and tapping their phones. At diplomatic gettogethers my uncle used to joke to his Indian counterparts they they should invite ISI to train them on how to tap phones without causing the lines to disconnect.
