Pakistan foreign policy towards afghanistan

Hi everyone in this site

what do you guys think about pakistani policy towards afghanistan. We all know that afghanistan is a very strategic place. Indians and afghans have a very close relationship with each other is this a treat to pakistan if yes why?

Afghans see pakistani as their enemy after the russian. Once asked this afghani guy what do you think of american forces in afghanistan. He said we need american for a while and when we are strong we know our enemy. he also we need americans to stop our neighbours interfering in afghanistan internal issues.

What should pakistan do about this?

Re: Pakistan foreign policy towards afghanistan

Afghanistan should be dealt with as the black sheep of the family. We like it when we need it and well forget about it when it is causing too many problems. First things first, send all the Afghans back and attempt to close off the border. If that doesn't work make sure the border is controlled to the largest extent possible.

Afghanistan is not self-sufficient in food, electricity and the basic necessities of modern life. So we use that to our advantage.

Re: Pakistan foreign policy towards afghanistan

Hi CM

Your suggestions are not the solution. Pakistan need afghanistan more than afghanistan need us. We need water from afghanistan to make electricity. Afghanistan is building huge Dams on its river and the country is developing quicker. accoring to world bank afghanistan economy will has reached the economy of bangladesh and it is still growing. Afghan people are in general more richer than pakistani and their popluation is about 35 million. Afghanistan has no debts to any foreign country and 1000 pakistani rupee is about 875 afghani currency.

Dear CM

We should consider afghanistan us our friends and try to help them in every way as they helped us when our forefathers were butchered by indians they came helped us with their sword. We helped them back as well in afghan war, but after that our policy towards them was a big mistake.

O bhai aisa lagta hai jaisay afghanistan na ho, friggin switzerland ki baat ho rahee hai.

Re: Pakistan foreign policy towards afghanistan

Ok name which rivers actually pass through Afghanistan into Pakistan. I don't know of one where we are dependent on that specific water source. Where exactly are you getting your information from? I would like to see a link to that World Bank statistic. Secondly that claim about Afghani being richers is not true. If the Afghanistan economy is equal to that of Bangladesh there is now way they are richer, as our economy is larger than Bangladesh's.

So me the links to back up such absurd claims.

Re: Pakistan foreign policy towards afghanistan

yeah and put that purya of afghani niswaar and other recreational pharmas away when you type :)

Re: Pakistan foreign policy towards afghanistan

Afghans are cool.

There was once a time when Afghanistan didn’t even feel like a different country, every time we went to Pakistan we were free to visit Afghanistan and we did, places in Afghanistan felt more like home than some Pakistani cities (no we weren’t whipped for not having beards).

We could have become one country but that Hindustani choora had to **** things up and now I can’t marry a Kabul or Kandahar raised cutie.

If some Afghans hate Pakistan they have every reason to...

Afghans 'refugees' are not going anywhere, the pruny goverment don't have the balls to send them back, if you want them out of your land give them their land back which Pakistan is illegally occupying.

and vice versa

Re: Pakistan foreign policy towards afghanistan

Exactly my point.
Even if what LB says it true then i think it coz of the aids it get from america. once american are gone, no more aid my friend.

But still, its good to know that afganis are doing good and life is getting better over there. those people have suffered for decades and deserve som peace.

Re: Pakistan foreign policy towards afghanistan
