Why don't you stick to the topic?
It's not about party politics but about Pakistani people in general.
Re: Pakistan food prices too high: UN
What I noticed was that prices of many commodities are very close to prices in the US, after converting from Rs to dollar. Which is scary because people in Pakistan obviously earn much much less than those in the US, and yet have to pay similar price. Even after paying price comparable to a developed country, the quality is still much inferior. So it is a double blow.
I noticed that too. Some dishes were costing £4-8 which is way too much for over there. Once upon a time not even that long ago you could eat food in Pakistan that was very cheap at good places even. Things are very hard for people in Pakistan. I guess people have to eat food which is cheaper instead.

well.......it all goes back to competency of govt in managing the economy and especially the food basket items.......there are no policies, no will, no ability, no vision to solve these issues........what is there to discuss about??
its plain and simple inflation coupled with bad governance and planning and management of agricultural market.
Re: Pakistan food prices too high: UN
The hoarding of food essentials like sugar is quite reprehensible. Otherwise food inflation is not a phenomenon unique to Pakistan. In fact, with petroleum prices rising globally, I expect food prices to further go up.
