don’t try to be a smart ass, I was referring to the per capita

India’s GDP(ppp) per capita: $2, 563 ( 165th in the world)
Pakistan GDP (ppp) per capita: $2,594 (127th in the world)

India’s GDP (Nomonial) per capita: $941 (132nd in the world)
Pakistan’s GDP (Nomonial) per capita: $ 908 (138th in the world)

source: Wikipedia, go on each counties official page and look at the table on the right hand corner
%between%

So where is the question of size ... per capita is in a nutshell what each person produces.......

Infact Pakistan's per capita was almost 25% - 30% more than that of India's in 80's and 90's till early 2000. India has managed to improves its GDP in the last few years while as Pakistan has been going in a downward slide.

On another note ..... the Per capita GDP of Equatorial Guinea is 4 times that of China !!!!!! The Chinese must be sh*#t#ng in their pants ... someone is 4 times more powerfull then them

^ When you say GDP, its not obvious that you mean "per capita" GDP, is it ?

However, I agree with your per capita GDP numbers given below (from CIA world factbook). Wikipidea is not a credible source for GDP.

Now going back to your arguement, a country 1/3rd the size can have the same or even higher per capita GDP since size does not factor into the per capita GDP calculation. However, India's population is almost 7-8 times that of Pakistan which explains why our per capita GDPs are so close to each other. Its called "Law of Diminishing Marginal Returns".

The more relevant metric would be GDP, which as I have already mentioned is 7 times that of Pakistan.

124 Pakistani militants linked to Miumbai attacks arrested

Is Pakistan acting now after visits from Joe Biden and British Milliband? Why are they arresting now after saying earier that No Pakistanis were involved in Mumbai terror ? In Hillary Clinton’s hearing John Kerry mentioned about Pakistan and how Obama needs to make Pakistan as high priority to root out terrorism.

Pakistan: 124 militants linked to Mumbai arrested

By MUNIR AHMAD – 1 hour ago
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) — Pakistan has arrested more than 100 people in a crackdown on groups allegedly linked to the Mumbai attacks, a top official said Thursday, adding that information India has handed over still needs work before it can be used as evidence in court.
Despite the announcement, Interior Ministry chief Rehman Malik dodged a question on whether Pakistan was conceding the plot that killed 164 people in India’s commercial capital was hatched on his country’s soil.
India says a Pakistan-based militant group, Lashkar-e-Taiba, masterminded the November attack. In the days afterward, the U.N. Security Council declared that Jamaat-ud-Dawa, a charity in Pakistan, was merely a front for the outlawed militant organization.

In a press conference, Malik said 124 people had been arrested, while authorities had taken steps against 20 offices, 87 schools, two libraries, seven religious schools, and a handful of other organizations and Web sites linked to the charity. He also said authorities had shut several relief camps of the charity, some of which have been alleged to be militant training grounds.
It was unclear exactly how many people remained in Pakistani custody, however, and Malik at one point indicated many may simply be under surveillance now.

Among those who are being held, including under house arrest, are Hafiz Mohammed Saeed, the head of the charity who helped establish the militant group, which was banned in 2002. Also in custody are Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and Zarrar Shah, two men India alleges planned the Mumbai attacks.
Malik said Pakistan was trying to act responsibly and went after the charity and those linked to it because of the U.N. declaration.
Malik repeated Pakistani calls for a joint investigation into the attacks, pledging that would “bring quick results.” He urged India to hand over more information to assist Pakistan’s own probe.
He said India had already handed over some information, but “we have to inquire into this information to try to transform it to evidence, evidence which can stand the test of any court in the world and of course our own court of law.”

As other officials have from the start, he appeared to rule out handing over suspects to India, saying Pakistani laws allowed for the prosecution of citizens who committed crimes elsewhere.
“We have to prove to the world that India and Pakistan stand together against terrorists because they are the common enemies,” Malik said.

The Associated Press: Pakistan: 124 militants linked to Mumbai arrested

Pakistan should arrest LeT's Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, the man behind the plot and arrest Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Masood Azhar. I am surprised There is a continuing pattern of evasiveness and denial in Pakistan's response to the terrorist attack

Pakistan admits JuD running terror camps, claims arrests of Lakhvi, Saeed

Thu, Jan 15 04:00 PM

**Islamabad, Jan.15 **(ANI): Pakistan has claimed that it has come down hard on the terrorist outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), and has put its top leaders Hafiz Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi behind bars, after admitting that the outfit was actually running terror camps behind the garb of a religious charity.

Interestingly, the clampdown against the Jamaat-ud-Dawa came after the Saudi intelligence chief’s visit to Pakistan earlier this week.

It also claims to have shut down five camps of the JuD.

“The crackdown was in response to the UN’s accusation that a Pakistani charity was a front for an outlawed militant group allegedly linked to the Mumbai attacks,” The Dawn quoted Pak interior secretary Rehman Malik, as saying.

Malik told reporters here that the camps JuD claiming to be doing relief work, had actually been militant training camps.

All the print and publications work including the website of the outfit has also been blocked with immediate effect, he said.

** The latest action against the JuD has put a stamp to the Indian stance that the group was involved in masterminding the November, 2008 Mumbai terror attack in which around 200 people, including foreigners were killed. (ANI)**

now what else left?

Re: Pakistan finally admits - Kasab is Pakistani

This same arrest of militants and blah blah was also done in 2002 also. We cannot trust Pakistan this time on the basis of these fake arrests and actions. What Chidambaram said few days should have been done in 2002 itself. The complete snapping of diplomatic, economical/trade, tourist/transport ties. That will do a lot better for India.

WOW brother, U r the best detective in the world. I think now all those in Scotland yard, ISI, FBI, MOSSAD AND RAW will be forced to commit suicide after ur latest revelations. keep it up brother, the world needs U.

pakistan was never in india or in westerner's good books, but cuz of its geographical position they cant leave it alone. so honestly who cares!

but what indians trying to prove that even a single pakistani boat can shake the entire india.

so this entire drama will only create problems for the so-called super power.

ps. we all know the standard of pakistani n indian police jo k ghoray ko bhi bakra bun-nay per majoor ker saktay hain. if this kasab guy was really part of some organization he would had focused on promoting his organizations ideology.
....but he was wearning what, "Western clothes".
