In case u dont know this lake is in upper kaghan valley , off old gilgit road… this is an undisturbed piece of land… very few ppl go there…u have to trek for about 6-7 hrs to get there… this pic was taken by my friend who went there with me…as i am not a very good photographer…in picture you can see the approach to the lake…

Like i said this lake is in Upper Kaghan Valley...
Most of us have heard of Kaghan, Naran and Lake Saif-ul-muluk.....
If You start out from Abbotabad, first you'll enter Kaghan ( its about 4 hrs from abbotabad...i think), next stop is naran, from where you can take a detour to Saif-Ul _Muluk lake , or continue on the road towards JalKhad ( a really beautiful place), next is Besal... besal is basically a tentage village, there only one khokha hotel, if u plan to stay in besal( it's highly advisable) than either take your own tents (like we did) or u can rent them from the khokha...you will trek for about 6 hours from the most beautiful scenary. It a long, narrow valley between 14,000+ ft mountains...wild horses roaming about... some gujjar settlements, but as you get to the lake its pure wilderness....no humans to be seen anywhere, no paan/chai shops , no khokhas, no rest rooms, just wild nature and you, and wild horses ( which dont come near humans )...... It seems like heaven.....I haev other view of lake, one with horses as well....but even after convertig to Jpeg they are more than 70K.....
