This was well after the breakup, nothing to do with Bengali separation from Punjab. He just wanted approval from people to get Bangladesh recognized as separate country from Punjab. In next gatherings he got the approval.
This was on live telecast on PTV and yes I saw this and other jalsa, soon followed by this one where he got the approval.
