Pakistan cricket team arrives in Bangladesh

A 15-member Pakistan squad, led by fast bowler Waqar Younis, arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday for their first official tour of Bangladesh during which they will play two tests and three one-day internationals.

The first test begins in Dhaka on January 9.

Pakistan recalled Shadab Kabir, who played in the 1997-98 season and scored nearly 700 runs in the recent Patrons Trophy competition.

The team also includes fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, who was reported for second time last year for a suspect action by match officials in Sharjah.
