Re: Pakistan Cricket History in Photos

Watched every Pakistan match of this tournament either on TV or at the ground.

Re: Pakistan Cricket History in Photos

Watched Pak V Aus at Headingley and Pak V WI at Edgbaston both at the ground. :Pak V WI was heart breaking as Pak scored 266 and WI was 199/9 and won the match. Felt really sick. When Clive Lloyd got out I danced in the aisle and unknown to me I was on TV. When I came home my mother told me that the camera was on me as I danced in the stands on the fall of Clive’s wicket.

Re: Pakistan Cricket History in Photos

Yea, I've read about his match and felt very sad, so i can imagine your situation. Vow so you were on the TV just like that who was shown on TV between India Vs Pak in Asia Cup :p

Re: Pakistan Cricket History in Photos

This was Javed's first match for Pak. He was listed to play at Headingley before this match but did not play, we were all speculating as to who this guy was and why was he being played in such an important tournament as he was a new comer, little did we know that he was going to become a legend in years to come. If I am not wrong he was he one who took Clive's wicket with his spin bowling and that led to my dance. :D

were you shown on TV during Pak V India?

Re: Pakistan Cricket History in Photos

I forgot to add word Kid in a match between India & Pakistan yes when we had Cricket in Pakistan then we must watched important matches in stadium.
and in next year Miandad made history while playing against Newzeland!
You have nice memory yes Miandad took the wicket of Clive
