Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Brother Z, do you mean nato comes inside pakistan and bomb afghanistan from over there?

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

I mean their is no bombing happening from Pakistan Side

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

so the afghans are lying?

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Yes Afghan puppet government is lying as always

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

**mukobhai’s source of info is Rehman Malik :cb: he must be 98% sure :rotfl: **

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Well I dont think the Afghans are lying, during the past month or so 4-5 attempts of incursions took place from Afghan side to Mohmand and Dir etc. 100's of people attacked Pakistani checkposts, which the drones failed to target, keeping in view otherwise they can attack a random house or car in the Pakistani side. Anyways in order to flush out those terrorists from the Pakistani side, the army used gunship aircrafts and its possible that some stray bombs might have landed in Afghanistan side. But the Afghans shouldnt cry about that, as if they or NATO cant secure that side then Pakistan will have to secure it itself (similar to the drone principle applied to Pakistan).

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

My information is Army it self I have lot of family members and friends in Armed Forces

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

and your govt is not lying as always?

like KKF said, are you 98% sure?

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

yes I am sure Pakistan has never crossed into Afghan Aread not did bombing their because that will not do anything good to Pakistan instead it will create more hate for Pakistan

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Pakistan is lying too…

PESHAWAR: Pakistan said Monday that dozens of Taliban infiltrated from Afghanistan to attack a check post, killing one soldier as mutual recriminations over cross-border attacks intensified.

It was the latest in a series of alleged cross-border incidents that have raised tensions between the neighbours even as officials confirmed exploratory peace contacts between Afghanistan, the United States and the Taliban.

There are Taliban strongholds on both sides of the border, but Afghan and US officials want Pakistan to do more to eradicate militant sanctuaries in its semi-autonomous tribal belt that is used to launch attacks in Afghanistan.

Pakistan army spokesman Major General Athar Abbas said one soldier was killed and another wounded in the attack on the post in the tribal district in Bajaur, about three kilometres from the Afghan border.

“Since Bajaur has been cleared by the military, the military is present in the area so this attack has to come from the other side,” he said.

Pakistan has repeatedly claimed to have eliminated the militant threat in Bajaur, one of seven districts in the tribal belt that Washington has called the global headquarters of al Qaeda, but attacks on troops have continued.

**Local administration official Islam Zeb told AFP that more than 100 Afghan Taliban attacked the paramilitary check post in the Kitkot area of the Mamoond district of Bajaur early Monday, and confirmed the casualties.
**
“The Pakistan army and Frontier Crops (paramilitary) retaliated and exchanged fire,” before the militants fled back to Afghanistan, he said.

**In North Waziristan district, where Pakistan is under huge US pressure to launch an operation against Taliban and al-Qaeda-linked militants, officials said four Pakistanis were wounded by a mortar attack from Afghanistan.

Doctor Mubarak Khan said two children aged eight and 13 were among the wounded.

Officials said the shell hit Bangedar village in the Ghulam Khan district, and had been fired from the eastern Afghan province of Khost.**

In Kabul, around 200 Afghans protested on Saturday against Pakistani rocket attacks that officials say have killed dozens of people.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai demanded an end to the attacks when he met the head of Pakistan’s army, General Ashfaq Kayani, last week.

Pakistan said only that its security forces may have fired a few accidental rounds into Afghanistan while pursuing militants across the porous 2,400 kilometre border.

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Afghans acknowledged it, Pak govt acknowledged it, and now Pak army acknowledged it.

looks like mukhobhai was either lying himself or his "army" relatives lied to him

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

The Afghan war is a mess, why did it take the Pakistan Army so long to start an operation there? Why can't NATO and PA coordinate with each other so that there is no place for the Taliban to run?

Correct me if I'm wrong but NATO conducted operations west of the Durand Line and at that time PA did nothing - so all the insurgents moved west of the line into Pakistan.

Now Pakistan Army is conducting an operation east of the Durand Line and NATO is not doing anything on the other side so the insurgents will run to the west into Afghanistan.

Rinse and repeat.

The two should conduct joint operations and trap them between a rock and a hard place.

I might be over simplifying here - I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

Thanks

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Problem is two fold. first the holy marriage between America and Pakistan has too many issues. none of them trust each other.
it is a majboori alliance instead of a real one.

second is both the parties seems to have favorites in taliban and none of them want to hurt their favorites .

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Which Taliban are American favorites? This is the first time I've heard of that. Pakistan has the Haqqani network in Waziristan which it seems we are never going to touch.

As a side note - Karzai feigning indignation over breach of sovereignty is hilarious for a country that is occupied by armies from around the world.

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

wht abt these militants comin from afghanistan and attacking our army??? wht abt tht??

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

^^ what about them?
they are just non state actors

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Sir most people who are attacking us from Afghanistan are the TTP militants and they have nothing to with Afghan Taliban it is the old tactic attack the enemy from his friends area and this will create a rift between the friends

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

So pakistanis are attacking their own country in a disguise of afghans so that pakistan's relation with afghanistan can go bad?

Did your army relatives tell you this as well?

Re: Pakistan Bombing Afghanistan?

Afghans need to clean their act and stop incursions form their side and stop whining.
