I am no military man but i find it hard to imagine that our jawans will take orders in crunch situations from females and non muslims. The only reason i say this is because we as a society have an overwhelming Muslim majority. Almost all of the jawans come from rural areas where there are very very few non muslims and they are brought up believing that taking orders from a female is just wrong. I dont know how well it will go. By the way i am completely in favour of Non muslims being encouraged to join army. I am not too keen on women to do it though.
