Just for a minute, suppose ISI is secretly backing Haqqani and with this backing US is facing huge problems in Afghanistan what would be the scenario if US gets into full war with Pakistan.. then ISI won’t need to hide its operations, NATO won’t be getting supplies, Pakistan with the help of allies would be providing whatever support they can to Talibans and resistance fighters and i seriously doubt then any DRONE would be able to fly and there would be very few NATO-US soldiers would see their country again…

And if India Jumps to help US in that war, then one thing is certain, the whole world can forget about the South Asia…

So to US and its supporters, cut the crap, get to work, you cannot win this war, the more you stay the more they’ll attack you, you were not invited in these lands, you have to leave, if you decide to leave now, you will be able to walk later you stay longer, your economy will suffer more and more…

You are forgetting the Taliban were also not invited to these lands. The Taliban were never voted into power. They came in power through force.

You are forgetting that at least half of Afghanistan must support the USA and its war against the Taliban. The Tajiks, Uzbeks, Hazaras who might constitute somewhere from 30-50% of Afghanistans population have openly supported the USA against the Taliban.

Even a significant proportion of Afghan Pashtuns support the USA against the Taliban. It is hard to say how much support the Taliban have in Afghanistan but it is probably going to be less than half population wise.

The Taliban can fight back well because they are armed and organised well. Without ISI support the Taliban would no longer be here.
