my mother inlaw is coming on b2 visa… she has a habit of fighting with me and dominating everything. she lies to my husband so he fights with me. this is her daily routine in pakistan..now my husband and i are in the USA.. in pakistan when my husband came home from his job he goes to her sits with her she gives him food and he comes to sleep only in my room.i dont even know if hes home! she makes life for me lonely and difficult. now she will get b2 visa. my question is how long is it possible for her to stay here. what do the immigration do how long do they allow and if she gets 6 month stay is it possible for her to return same year for more 6 months? how many visits can she do with 5 year visa multiple??

it depends on the Immigration officer at the port of entry. it can be minimum of one week and maximum of six months stay.

First thing,, does she have a B2 at this moment.... For ISB Pakistan, there is usual delay of 3-6 month in issuance of a B2 at this moment for anyone i.e. male or female.
Secondly, as mentioned in the earlier post. at Port of Entry the immigration officer decides for the time period, from one week to six months. Six months can be extended to another six months if your husband makes a valid request to USCIS for extension. But after the extended Six months, one cannot re-renter US for at least 6-12 months.
Usually if someone has stayed for six months in Us, he cannot go out for one day from US and come back for another SIX months.. This shows the Immigration intent of the person and thus the immigration officer does not allow entry for a long time.
