Many of the foreigners have been taking advantage of Pakistanis hospitable nature, and using it as a base to carryout terrorist activities.
Anyone not holding a valid Pakistani identity card or a Visa should be sent back to where they came from.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces have arrested 257 Uzbek and Afghan nationals during a major operation against foreigners illegally living in the Chaman area near the border with Afghanistan.
Police initially arrested 20 Uzbek nationals during a raid on a house near the frontier on Friday. They then cordoned off the area and mounted a major operation along with other security forces to detect foreigners and arrested 237 more.
Extensive searches were carried out in the region and scores of Uzbeks and Afghans were detained from several houses, police officer Naseebullah Khilji told Geo News channel.
Most of the arrested people belonged to the northern areas of Afghanistan. Three agents involved in human trafficking were also arrested, Khilji said.
The arrested people were taken the Sadar police station in Chaman, which is located about 100 km from the Afghan city of Kandahar.
Police in the area are on high alert and more raids are being conducted.
I remember one of incidents where few Pakistanis were caught in one Central Asian state (Armenia???) then killed as if they were trying to escape then later on that government claimed that these Pakistani were terrorists trying to cross border... few days later it was found out that these Pakistanis were invited by law enforcements/police of that country as there is probably some "good reward" to catch/kill a terrorist so they thought of this plan.

Could be that local tribal leaders are involved in that kind of planning to "get rewards" by handing them/providing leads etc?
i remember that incident too. who knows government is involved to show to USA that they are getting tough on terrorism to get more money. nothing is beyond this government. if they can kill their own citizens for money and good grades then coming up with such lousy schemes is nothing at all. :halo: :rolleyes:
