I was in Pakistan for 2 weeks in early September and observed NA 120 elections by myself and was shocked to see some of tactics employed by our army establishment to divide votes. Out of no where and overnight, 2 new parties were created with unlimited funds. Even worst, look at the agenda of those 2 parties’ candidates.

One was openly romanticizing and eulogizing “a condemned, executed murderer” Mumtaz qadri and threatening Nawaz sharif being qadri’s murderer as part of its election campaign. I personally heard some of their speeches but if you dont trust me, videos have emerged where “religious leaders belonging to this group energising near-hysterical crowds using hatred-filled slogans openly declaring that next year’s election is about mumtaz qadri and namoosae rasallat issue alone”. Unfortunately, some PTI factions were supporting this narrative to ensure PMLN votes get divided. very sad.

Similarly another group under direct patronage of declared terrorist hafiz saeed, whose group has “openly hailed Osama Bin Laden as a hero” and still remains 200% committed to jihad in Pakistan and beyond Pakistan, also had a complete free hand in this by-election in Lahore. they were also attacking nawaz as modi/trump ka yaar.

Fine, attack Nawaz…i have no problem with it but is this the way? these both groups were spreading so much hate among masses. they were radicalizing masses, to no end. who is responsible for this other than army establishment? and if you think, it is not army, i can only pity. who else was behind these groups? PMLN? PPP? PTI? ofcourse not.

imagine what will happen when these 2 groups will field their candidates in every constituency in Punjab in 2018 elections promoting “do jihad everywhere in the wrold”, “kill anyone on name of namoos rasalt”, “taliban are mujahadeen”, “bin laden our hero”, and so on. imagine how will it destroy the social fabric of our society which is already rotten and toxic.

but our army Establishment is busy in these cheap tactics to divide PMLN vote bank without realizing long term consequences to the country itself. whats even more sadder is the fact that balanced moderate folks keep their mind shut on this issue just because of their hatred for PMLN. how sad! wake up guys, after 80’s so called afghan “jihad”, another institutionalized-backed radicalized disaster in making.

PD nay apna faraz ada kar diya hai by warning this nation on time, but obviously no one will listen to him..

Baba Jee!!! yehi tu rona hay…yehi tu Dawn Leaks theee!!! They canmot afford to have aby popular leader!!! anyone who got popular vote bank and do things to dilute anti Pak situation in Balochistan is not in their interest!!@

and iam glad NS is out of PM house!!! NS is PM house was weak and NS in Raiwind is a strong and popular political leader!!! the one who can negate these two parties…

insiders of Falah e Insaniyat were so much against this electoral politics that they pleaded to Hafiz Saeed to not to take part in it…but as we all know Hafiz Saeed is not a leader but puppet…

once a puppet gets out of control. break him into pcs n bring a new puppet. and the story goes on. PTI ka bhi yehi anjaam ho ga one day once they will be in power.

the issue is that Pakistan arm has been promoting “jihadism” for a very long time. Army establishment in Pakistan created laskara e taybba, hakrta al ansar, jaisha e muhammad, hazbae mujahadeen, hazbae badar and many more to do proxy wars both in indian kashmir and afghanistan (mostly indian kashmir). all of this has totally backfired. not only it created bad name for kashmir struggle but it also militarized and suffocated Pakistani society to no end. it needs to stop but how?

if our army is sincerely thinking to bring these militant organisations back into a moderate societal mode by inducting them into electoral politics, more power to Pak army…but alas, ground facts are different. both religious organizations in NA 120 used the political platform to create hate, sectarian divide, and promote so called jihad and blamed PMLN for everything.

so obviously, our army establishment is not sincere to bring these militant organizations into a moderate societal mode. they are using them to divide PMLN votes and that is a very cheap dangerous act with serious long term consequences to Pakistani society. PTI shd not support this dirty act and shd stand against it. it shd not become army puppet.

^^^ Not very long ago, in 80s They used same tactics for PPP…launched Sipah-e-Sahaba in Southern Punjab to Cut PPP who had leaders from Shia Sects…

Result is part of out history!!! They launched Imran Khan to defeat or neutralize NS in 90s ( Hameed Gul and Haroon Rasheed wrote about it) who took some 20 years and 40 or more LOTAs…

I am sure if Army stop inteferring then Pakistan can become a developed and better place to live…

Stoog of establishments cannot become leader or be independent. NS was planed in GHQ pot, his roots are still there. Army has done many blunders and one is NS.

NAP was replaced by PpP
where NAP was a national level party originated from NWFP…

Army has not given up and they are still upto new blunders…in short the country have suffered because army generals want every thing controlled by themselves…directly in form of Martial Law or indirectly by their stooges

بات یہ ہے کہ راحیل شریف بڑے زور و شور سے یہ تاثر دیا کرتے تھے کہ نیشنل ایکشن پلان کے جس حصے پر فوج کو عمل کرنا تھا اس پر تو سو فیصد عمل ہوگیا لیکن جس حصے پر حکومت نے عمل کرنا تھا اس پر عمل نہیں ہو رہا۔ موجودہ چیف نے راحیل کی طرح کھل کر تو نہیں کہا لیکن اسی طرح کے اشارے یہ بھی دیتے آئے ہیں۔ یہاں واردات یہ ہو رہی تھی کہ حکومتی حصے والے کام چوہدری نثار عالی خان نے کرنے تھے جو نواز شریف کے نہیں بلکہ جی ایچ کیو کے آدمی تھے اور جو نواز شریف کے صرف ان امور میں تابعدار ہیں جن امور میں جی ایچ کیو کی لائن مختلف نہیں ہوتی۔ نواز شریف کی سب سے بڑی غلطی یہ ہے کہ وہ وزارت داخلہ ہمیشہ جی ایچ کیو کو دیدیتا ہے۔ جی ایچ کیو قوم سے تو کچھ کہتا لیکن چوہدری نثار کو اشارہ کچھ اور کرتا۔ اب ہوا یہ ہے کہ احسن اقبال نے طے کر لیا ہے کہ ہم نے نیشنل ایکشن پلان کے اپنے والے حصے پر عمل کرکے چھوڑنا ہے۔ چنانچہ پہلے مرحلے میں وہ ان لوگوں کی فہرست قوم کے سامنے پیش کرنے کی تیاری کر رہے ہیں۔ جو اس ملک میں ہونے والی دہشت گردی کے “سرپرست” ہیں۔ اس میں ہر رنگ کے لوگ ہیں، خاکی بھی ہیں اور نوری بھی۔ یہ سارا ڈیٹا ملک کی سب سے بڑی انٹیلی جنس ایجنسی آئی بی کا جمع کردہ ہے۔ اب اگر اللہ نے عقل عطاء فرما رکھی ہے تو عمران خان تین چار دن سے جو کر رہے ہیں اسے خود ہی سمجھ جائیں مجھے گولی مروانا یا ڈمپر تلے کچلوانا ضرور تو نہیں !

The biggest blunder of army was not handing over power to Bengali after they won the elections of 1970. ZAB was out from Ayub’s regime during his peak rule in 1967 and became staunch opponent of Ayub Khan. Conversely NS was sweat heart of his mardood dady and spirtitual leader Zia-ul-Haq even after many years before he was sent to hell by his own colleges.

ZAB was the only one killed by Punjabi army none else were the victims of ruthlessness of Punjabi army in your above list. Perhaps ZAB was Sindhi the others were not.

Listen to your leader’s venom he had spitted against Benazir. Kuch to sharam aati hogi apni yeh bakwaas sun kar. NS us waqt bhi army ki godh mein betha howa tha. Zia-ul-Haq ka pila bhi is ke saath kharha hay.

Don’t forget alshams n albadr in east Pakistan. After fall of Dhaka army escaped safely but those ppl who supported alshams n albadr considering it is loyalty to Pakistan were left on the mercy of angry bengalis . So bengalis took all revenge of army’s wrong doing from the civilians

Care to explain? Did I say something you did not understand or you understand but have not any logical answer except being personal.

I suggest after watching above video of your leader, review your list and remove ZAB from it. Comparing ZAB with others in this list is like comparing apples with oranges.

Sab ka sab topi drama hai, looting going on everywhere and budgets being used in corruption and personal gains.
sab milay huway hain kisi ko aam admi ka koi khyaal nai.
inflation keeps rising yet nobody gives a $hit about it all r busy in taking and eating up imf and world bank and other loans.

aaway ka aawa bigra huwa hai, beghairti ki iteha hochuki hai. While other countries are developing at rapid pace, pak remains 200 yrs behind all and pretend that all is ok.

PD nay yeh baat apnay do hafty kay early September main Pakistan kay visit main khud dekhi.. jabkay main yeh baat 2016 say khulam khulla kahta raha hon.. go kay yeh baat mujhay bachpan say hi pata hia.. mager iss baat ka parchar mainy baqaidgi say 2016 say kiya hia… mager kisi kay kaan par jon tak nahi rengi…

Karachi… PSP… Political front of Rangers… (Rangers is another institution of Army… primary responsibility to patrol boarder and stop smuggling…)
Banned outfits… They are all active in Karachi with the blessing of Pakistan Army and physical support from Rangers.

The origin of every major national Pakistani leader can be traced to the army establishment for the simple reason that the army has been the most dominant force in the country since the 50s. There is simply not enough room for anyone from outside to emerge. However, it must be appreciated that some leaders, once projected, have then split from the army establishment and become their own men.
ZAB split during Ayub Khan’s time and PPP has been anti-establishment since then. NS split during the 90s when PML-Q/PML-N split happened and PML-N has been anti-establishment since then.
Imran Khan has not taken this step yet.

ZAB’s split was during peak rule of Ayub Khan where as NS;s split was after the death of many years of Zia-ul-Haq. If IK will have a chance to become PM, the split will be sooner when he understands and feels the real mentality of army.

What the heck are you talking about? Ayub’s peak was before the 1965 war where there were no protests on roads and economy was booming. Here, bhutto played a masterstroke by first prodding ayub as a hawk like we have here in the good ole US of A to launch operation gibraltor and then spread lies after tashkent that Pakistan had won millions of square miles that ayub personally squandered in the agreement. Lets not forget that he somehow was anti-dictatorship but was also in the UN ripping up the polish resolution for ceasefire in 1971 but more on that later.

Notwithstanding his stand on the nuclear program of Pakistan, his other policies left a lot to be desired. His quota system and nationalization destroyed one of the few good things of the ayub era (economy) while he released the jinn of religious extremism by banning qadyanis in 1973. Was that the military’s fault too?

Coming to 1970-71, Yahya to his credit did conduct the fairest election to date in Pakistan. Bhutto, instead of working democratically with other parties to come up with solution, put fuel on the fire by calling bengalis suwar ka bachcha and called people who talked to bengalis traitors and other slogans like I’ll break their legs if they go to meet mujib. All for what? Just because the feudal wouldn’t be able to rule all of Pakistan. Mujib gave him a way out when he suggested that east and west pakistan would pretty much be independent where a federal govt would only be responsible for defence, communications and foreign policy. Bhutto still could’ve been the PM of west pakistan but wadera saeen was upset that how dare a dhoti wala bengali be on the same table as him?

Why didn’t bhutto take a stand for democracy and told yahya to open the assembly on time in Dhaka? He sure was able to flex his muscles when Pakistan was finally broken up to force Yahya out when the President still wanted to stay in power. His services to democracy is the reason that we never set up a democratic culture in Pakistan. He never could understand that it will all bite him in the ass when he used ISI to spy on all his opponents.

Taali doh hatton say bajtee hai. The one who is crying about the army today was born in the lap of it and supported the judicial murder of an elected PM. Hypocrites.
