You’re right the army in Pakistan is above the law, should be made accountable etc etc.

Your point about history books is also correct - the history we are taught is biased and an attempt to foster statehood.

I’m assuming you’re Indian and grew up there. What do you history books say about Junagarh, Manvadr, and Hyderabad at the time of partition.

I would assume that Indian history books are also historically incorrect - and revisionist to cater to promote Indian statehood - is there someplace I can access Indian school text books on Indian history (we call it Pakistan studies here and its a compulsory subject in grades 9,10,11.

And one last questions - which Pakistani history books have you read? Try reading Hamza Alvi - I could give you more suggestions if you’d like.
