No I think there is a huge difference. For example , the supporters of Islamic parties like JI also sympathize jihad and radicalism but that doesnt mean they should all be held up.
Infact, there is a large number of people in Pak who may have no affiliation but verbally they support radicalism, which may or may not include violance. I dont think all of them should be put in jail.

Believe it I’m not their supporter at all, but I really dont remember anything about Hizb-ut-tehrir that is linked with any suicide bombing or anything violant.

While JI and other parties are political in nature, Hizb is not. It operates under the guise of being a political party or being peaceful, but it is anything but. Behind the scenes it is involved in actively supporting terrorism and radicalising the youth of today especially in UK. its core message is one of intolerance towards anyone who do not subscribe to their views. As I said before the 7/7 bombers and also the Glasgow airport bombers had links with Hizb.
