Pakistan Army hands over Angoor Adda border crossing facility to Afghan forces

Re: Pakistan Army hands over Angoor Adda border crossing facility to Afghan forces

They are firing on Pakistanis, so should Pakistan just sit in and take it? Somehow, I think that Musharraf would have given a response like a heavy artillery barrage, not f16 bombardment, even with his deference to the US. It is the primary duty of Pakistani army to protect the sovereignty (including people) of Pakistan.

Re: Pakistan Army hands over Angoor Adda border crossing facility to Afghan forces

Afghan Army is nothing... Pakistan can teach them lesson at any time.

^^^

This should be the reply instead of Barrage of Tweets...send barrage of heavy artillery in response of bullets and very are no longer in friendship terms with US so middle finger to them...

Our Foreign office has said, things with Americand are about to die if not dead already...so let it be...Afghans are harboring terrorists like Fazalullah and then open fire at us....give them response that even their naani wont forget...

As for US...

Hillary or Donald both are going to cut ties with Pakistan...so what the hell...

Re: Pakistan Army hands over Angoor Adda border crossing facility to Afghan forces

So if we dont reply it will make them march past our posts and cities...

Iranians on the other hand will get a hint and Indians are our old girl friend..

So yeah we are surrounded...we cannot settle with Afghans and Indians but Iranians yes we may have a chance...

For Afghan, to Control them...one need to keep slapping them even under "friendly fire"..

Re: Pakistan Army hands over Angoor Adda border crossing facility to Afghan forces

Kiyani would have reacted better...as he did after American Attack on Salalah check post...

Re: Pakistan Army hands over Angoor Adda border crossing facility to Afghan forces

This if true is what is considered as apt response…

Re: Pakistan Army hands over Angoor Adda border crossing facility to Afghan forces

This Afghans were never our friends... they are the only country who voted against us in UN in 1948.... We lost 70,000 Pakistanies because of these Afghans and now we will back our Army if they give them a jaw breaking reply....

Indians and Afghans are brothers and Afghans have problems with Tajikistan, Iran ( who keep slapping them regularly) and i don't know how they are dealt by Uzbeks and Tarkamans..

Re: Pakistan Army hands over Angoor Adda border crossing facility to Afghan forces

What should be the permanent solution of Afghan Nuisance! only it is was Talibans time when our borders with Afghans were friendly... otherwise it was troubled border... and would remain so... whatever we do... Afghans hates us... and there is nothing we can do to change that.. But Pashtun Belt of Afghan have different sentiment for us... keeping that in mind... Pakistan should work to disintegrate Afghanistan... Separate the border area along with Wakhan Corridor and Afghan problem shall be solved for good..

otherwise they'll keep coming back...

Pakistan, Afghanistan increase troop deployment across Torkham after deadly clashes

PESHAWAR: The death of Pakistani army officer on Tuesday, after being shot by Afghan forces in a clash across Torkham border, is likely to ratchet up tension between the two neighbouring countries — who sources said were beefing up troop numbers on either side.

The Pakistan army has moved heavy weaponry and additional troops to the Afghan border on Monday night, said Pakistani security officials, who wished not to be identified because they were not authorised to speak to the media.

A senior military official, while talking to DawnNews, said that the gate at Torkham will now be built and at any cost.

“If someone tries to create hindrance in the process, the army will retaliate with full force,” he added.

The officer said the construction of this gate was agreed upon by both sides during a bilateral meeting and it was decided that the construction work will be done during Ramazan after iftar.

“But the Afhan authorities are again violating the mutual agreement.”

Meanwhile, the Afghan forces again opened fire on Pakistani security officials on Tuesday evening, injuring two FC personnel.

Pakistan army retaliated with heavy fire and destroyed a military checkpost inside Afghan area, security sources said.

On Monday, an Afghan border police commander had also confirmed that reinforcements had been deployed to the Afghan side of the border.

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif attended funeral prayers on Tuesday for Major Jawad Ali Changezi, who was among nine Pakistani and six Afghan troops wounded in the fighting, security officials said.
