excuse me, this was pakistani land and has been handed over to afghans with no legal process?
maybe it is a good strategic decision but lets be very clear. we are questioning that under which authority, general raheel took this action? pakistani public is asking if a proper legal process was followed by the army or not? apparently not as it is clear from ch nisar's today's letter.
can you even imagine general in any other country gifting his own land to an enemy without letting the sitting govt know? general raheel can face court-martial on this one. Army treats this country as its dairy farm. very disappointing act by general raheel.

Are people nuts? Pathetic responses from the usual hypocrites. First cry for years, jump up and down on these forums, wail nonstop that the war is getting no where, no solution and initiative is in sight, but when a general finally gets the equation right, things are moving in the right direction....they find million excuses to defame the general due to political affiliation, and cook up fantasies of having him court martial by crooks because he dare solve the Afghan Pak border dispute.
Don't give this BS excuse of any other country. There is so much crap happens in Pakistan from top to bottom that doesn't really happen in any other country - justifying and trivializing issues like electoral rigging and corruption would be one of them!
Get over it. Af-Pak border is porous, the exact line is very much a disputed territory. So stop crying as if the Army had given half of your country away. I for one is willing to give many hundred inches if such initiative secures Pakistan border for longer run, and buries the border disputes for good.
I am a strong advocate of border fencing, and that cannot happen until Pakistan and Afghanistan sort out their border disputes. There has to be a give and take situation.

If the deal is to show the ANA's pathetic professionalism that they will run away with the first sign of hostilities, then I hope that this gesture is done on afghan land. Build them a post in their own country and let the world see if they run away like pussies when a firefight breaks out.

just imagine if a politician has taken such a step, our whole media and army leadership would have labeled him as a traitor and what not but now the media is sitting quiet because their masters have taken this step. and ISPR is announcing via twitter that we have given our land to enemy to establish brotherhood...what a joke.
We should not mix issues. Total support to Raheel shareef, army and its jawans for fighting out the war against terrorists and for its sacrifices but this is a pathetic move by the army. I said it before and will say again, it may have been a correct strategic decision (i dont know for sure) but how in the world, army just took this step in its own without telling anyone? Can army do it constitutionally? I dont think so.
general raheel should also award siacheen to Indians to establish brotherhood and just let us know via twitter.
and if you look on net, other than poor PTI supporters, no one has supported army's move. becharray PTI supporters (who were first waiting for umpire's finger to be raised for so long) are now hoping that somehow uncle raheel sahreef will finally put baby imran on PM seat. The Pak-Afghan border is a porous, autonomous region. There is no evidence that the land belonged to Pakistan or if it was disputed. I really don't believe that Army would hand over an inch of Pakistani land.
However, border dispute had been a mother of all problem between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Bhutto would not have created Taliban/Afghan Muhajiheen if it wasn't border related tensions.
Yes things should have been done in a better manner but to see emotional knee jerk PMLN supporters fantasizing about court martial of Gen Raheel while their chor dakoo PM is out of country holidaying on tax payers money are beyond pathetic and pure opportunism.
You should know that there is a PMLN media cell in PM house specifically designed to attack the Army. Haven't you noticed the sudden surge in anti Army bickering by PMLN supporters?
I'm not a hypocrite who justifies electoral rigging on these forums then whine why PM or Parliament aren't taken seriously by the Army. They are criminals. If you want to put legitimacy back in PM and the parliament, then these are ought to come through free and fair elections.
