Wow, I can’t believe someone can be THIS misinformed. Pathetic saving gesture? When will you realize the strategic position Pakistan has in the South Asian region. The US NEEDS Pakistan, otherwise it will suffer yet another humiliating defeat. No one knows the landscape of Afghanistan like the Taliban do and the Pakistani army is the second best resource to consult regarding this confusing landscape. Countries invade Afghanistan only to realize that man, this is hard stuff! That’s why the Soviets left and that’s the US is busy scratching its head wondering what to do. Pakistan is their ONLY hope!!!
As for India building schools and roads in Afghanistan…hahaha you’ve got to be kidding me!! Why don’t they focus on their OWN roads and schools like thejoke mentioned. The whole country is a mess!! They put up this image of Indians becoming rich and famous, while hiding the sheer poverty, illiteracy and discrimination that is rampant in the country. It’s such a facade…
The funniest thing is when they claim to be the next super power after the US…Indians are followers, not leaders. They imitate, they don’t innovate. So please snap out of this mentality and see things for what they are. India is trying REALLY hard to make its presence felt in Afghanistan but the bottom line is that the US doesn’t need them Indians…they need the Pakistani army and they are beginning to realize how badly they need their help! And the ball is in Pakistan’s court…I just wish we still had Musharraf to show good leadership…but I have faith in our army!
