Pakistan alarmed over Delhi arms purchases

every country has the right to purchase
arms why pakistan alarmed ? still india’s
defense spending as a % of the budget is
many times smaler.

nothing new... both of them get alarmed the moment they hear the other has made an arms purchase...

its obvious..

when my worst enemy is going to buy new weapon, which which he will threat me, and increase pressure on me..

dont i need to be alarmed???

Dont think "you can" know "you can"

gun locating radars that india lacked during
kargil resulted in high casualties.
if pakistan had known india has those weapons
it would think twice before planning any misadventurre. besides it saves lives on both sides if it prevents war.

Either you are greater laloo than Lalooo himself or you are naive gullible siana pagal.

If individual will was determining factor then why is there nuclear disarmament ,non nuclear proliferation mandates....why America makes sure about balance in power ...When a small country fight big bully like ndia the weapons dont slow down for the small target & small country have to have EQUAL power to just draw the chanceses even so what is this idiotic notion of % of proprtion to size of the country & military size .Whether Pakistan is the smallest country in oreder to survivre it has to have just as many army & weapons as India just to be even & fair to its soldier who will die for the country .

First it was purchases from Israel, then US, then South Africa (to the extent of joint production) and now there is a news on Financial Times that British Foreign Secretary Straw will request India to sign a deal for 66 Hawk military jets during his trip to Delhi.

Is India trying to hoodwink Pakistan and taking it to a breaking point by putting arm purchase pressure on it, like US did on USSR.

Those who aren't concerned about indian defense spending are fooling themselves...
Imagine an Indian army even stronger then the one they have now. Pakistans foreign and domestic policy will be on its knees. One threat of war from a superior Indian army and we are done for (as if we arent almost there already)... Pakistan for the moment has to put pressure on forgeign countries to curtail Indian defense deals, or at the very least, provide Pakistan with the hardware needed to counter Indian Aggresion, the release of the f-16'S WOULD BE A GOOD START.Pakistan need to develop its economy, keeping its defense spending at 3% while increasing its GDP would mean larger defense spending within the same 3 percentage. We CANNOT afford to let India get to far ahead in defense. Not as long as they are a threat to our stability, as long as they hold on to Kashmir.
