Arafat is bowling faster than Irshad which is surprising since Irshad was considered one of the FASTEST in the country.

Indian team is full of youngsters whereas we have lots of 25+ yr old players.
There are 3 players in Indian team from the U19 squad (2006 WC) where Pakistan has at least 5 players who represented Pakistan at U19 level some 5-7 years ago :)

Absolutely right and I would like to add something else. Why we are not introducing new and younger faces to the A side - so that they get the necessary experience and be promoted to the senior team?
Look at the Indian side - all of them are new faces and those who have played for the senior team are also new to the international level. Whereas the Pakistan side has a few players who are rejects from the senior team i.e. Yasir Hameed, Mishbah Ul Haq, Mohammed Hafeez etc.
Do you honestly think these guys have a permanent future in the senior team? I don't think so - then their places should have been given to more deserving players who could potentially be promoted to the senior team. I honestly do not understand the selection of this side.

I have made this point before when the squad was announced, what’s the point sending this squad against some 3rd grade teams?? Did you see UAE, Netherlands and Irelands bowlers??? None of them are good enough to even play for 2nd grade Quetta team and we have sent 30 yr olds tried and tested players to face them.
I would rather like to see players like Mohammad Jamshed, Nasir Jamshed, Anwar Ali, Najaf Shah etc than Misbah ul Haq, Hafeez and co.
Pakistan A is going to Australia later this year and i wll prefer to see Gul, Irshad, Aafat, Taufeeq etc there but for this tournament we did NOT need to send oldies.
Shahid Yousaf is one of the ONLY few young batsmen who looks solid and is the one for future and guess what, he doesn’t even get a game against Netherlands, instead we played Misbah, Hafeez, Hameed ahead of him
