NEW DELHI, April 6: Indian Foreign Minister Yashwant Sinha has described Pakistan as a “fit case” for an Iraqi style military action by the US “because it has weapons of mass destruction , sheltered terrorists and lacked democracy”.
“It is a fit case,” Mr Sinha told the Hindustan Times in an interview published on Sunday when asked whether Pakistan deserved action similar to that against Iraq.
Mr Sinha said he would not oppose such action against Pakistan, but added "…whether they will is up to them. We can’t go to someone and ask them to attack another country.
“We will keep pointing out the activities of Pakistan and in them the role of the army, the drug business centred in Pakistan … and how people in (Azad Kashmir) are repressed and trampled on,” he said.
A couple of days back, Mr Sinha told AFP in an interview that India had a case for launching air strikes against Pakistan.-AFP
so is india they too have WMD, they are involved in terrorist activities and are opressing the people of kashmir and of their own country, namely minorities
i think usa has been using both countries against each other and will continue to do so for years to come
usa needs pakistan as an aly in many forms usa does not want pakistan to join the ranks of iran, china korea and co... usa uses india as a stick to counter pakistan
at the same time usa does not want to antagonize india which is a big market for it at same time a usefull tool to counter islamic lobby in south asia . but at the same time usa does not want india to grow too powerful because its aware that india with its man power and means can easily be a threat to usa itself someday so it uses pakistan as a tool to hammer india
simple
The best alternative for Pakistan and India is to make free trade agreement and friendly relationship with eachother. Let go the Kashmir Issue, it would only add more misery to both sides and USA would continue to blackmail and kick the ass of Pakistan with the interruption of loly pop of aid and charity.
If we do free trade with India it will be disastorous for Pakistan... since we are basically producing same things....textiles...auto parts..medicine...whole insutries would be wiped out.... free trade with India is out of the Question... As for Kashmir... As Gen. Musharraf said' It runs in our blood.".,. so I dont; think so
and wat from that list doesn’t india do, it kills innocent kashmiries every bloody day of the week, indian sodiers rape innocent kids for pete’s sake and women in jammu kashmir. there is no sence of security for indian muslims living in india with government led riots all over the utter pardesh state, muslims are dilebarately signalled out for no reason watsoeva.
indian khufiya agency rao sends spy’s to pakistan to cause terror, lately one was caught trying to bomb blast a busy shopping centre in karachi and he said: that indian government foreced him to do it or they threatened to kill his family and his disabled son, my god they aren’t a democracy they are a genocidal clan seperatuing truth from justice.
are we forgetting the simla moaida our qai’d was promised jammu kashmir but india backed out, nehru u £"$%&**
:kaboom: Yashwant Sinha baat karta hai , bloody hypocrite

You are very naive. Do you think that India will let go after you give up Kashmir? It wants to enslave the Pakistanis as it is doing with its own Muslims. As for trade, remember that the British came to the sub-continent with the excuse of trade. If you want to be goody-goody with India you should migrate there and see for your self how 'secular' India behaves with other religions.

Somehow every paki has a view on Indian Muslim's state in India. Why dont you guys look at the condition of Muslims in a land which was created for the Muslims of Sub-continent.

same can be said about indians when they seem to care more about pakistani muslims even when a small riot break out between two groups while they completely forget the plight of muslims in kashmir and gujrat.
Islamabad: Trying to quell speculation that the United States may move on from Iraq to nations like Iran and Syria, the Secretary of State, Colin Powell, said the US had no hit list but it would “firmly” aim that no country supported terrorism or developed weapons of mass destruction.
“The United States does not have some plan or some list with nations on the list that we are going to go attack one after another,”Mr Powell told Pakistan television on Thursday.
Don’t ask US to attack Pakistan. Have some balls, Indians and try the bad Pakis.
pt how come you cant get indians to negotiating table with all your nukes?
if you think cross-border killing of pundits will force indians to negotiate about kashmir you are mistaken.
why dont pakistanis fight face to face with indians in kashmir
why send proxies while sitting in a/c roms in clifton?
To any objective observer, Kashmir is a dead issue, and nothing will be gained by continuing to flog it. And yet, even sensible Pakistanis are unwilling to come forward and say so openly. The recent appalling slaughter of 24 Kashmiri Pandits shows how explosive an issue it is, and emphasizes yet again the need to normalize relations with India and move ahead on other aspects of bilateral ties like trade and travel. This whole business of jihad (and it is, among other things, a business) has to be switched off and its proponents tamed.
One knows this is a tall order, and not one in keeping with this government’s wishes or priorities. Brainwashed into a knee-jerk ‘Kashmir at any cost’ philosophy, our generals have a single-point agenda to which the whole nation is now hostage. But for how long?
As we stand isolated and virtually friendless, we are in desperate need to review our mistakes and chart a new path. Unfortunately, as one surveys the landscape, one cannot see the kind of visionary leaders needed for such an exercise.
may you should visit the morgue you will find all kind of non-south asians.
Pakistan faces more difficult problems. Having made cross-border terror the cornerstone of its Kashmir policy, it fears the decisive loss of leverage if it backs down now, but will find it more and more difficult to continue along its chosen path. http://www.koreaherald.co.kr/SITE/data/html_dir/2003/04/09/200304090022.asp
