You know what people wear in Rap videos or even on reality shows or the runway in Paris is not what regular people wear in America! Pakistanis come in all forms and I have been to high fashion events or balls in NYC where Pakistanis wear these types of clothes but let's be realistic, half the people won't even look good in these outfits! So I think these outfits have a limited market. However that's the difference between couture and ready to wear, most people modify these styles for their own needs and requirements so the 'styles' live on modified
