What it says is true, a lot of young girls from poor households start dreaming big dreams and want the lifestyles portrayed in the drama serials so they form phone-relationships thinking it’s some rich guy sometimes with bad consequences.

Instead of keeping a leash on your kids, it's better to develop a relationship of trust. Obviously you cannot keep an eye on your kids 24/7. Take away their cell phone and computer, they will use a friends phone at school or use someone elses computer when they tell you they are having a "study" session. The more strict you are, the more they will resent you and the more they will try to hide things and be rebellious and endup doing stupid **** that they will regret later on.
Parents really need to be their kids best friend. They need to share everythign with them and let them know they will be there for them. OBVIOUSLY kids will make mistakes. a 13 year old girl is going through puberty, she will try to attract guys or be popular or whatever you wanna call it. She will like the attention she gets from boys in her class. So instead of beating her up or humiliating her, its better to talk to her about this and tell her its not right for watever reasons but DONT scare your kids. they will never trust you and will do things behind your back which may harm them.
Yeah be strict on girls. Give your boys all the freedom. Let them run around raping, molesting and mutilating girls. What a load of double standards!
I know I was thinking this too.. BUT the fact is you live in a society in which a man has to go work out side to earn for the family (Generally) so a boy if he cant get money from home for those easy load then he can work or go and do some theft jobs and get the money out.. if his parents try to tell him NOT to do so.. but he is already been ruined by his friends.. he get his money from some other means.. so its like he is "literally" not in need of parents. This thing happens only when there isnt any respect of parents or respect of religion (Islam) or when there isnt any self respect!
Um, happened to one of my cousins. She was on the phone all the time with this one dude - she was a teenager, and we knew nothing about this gentlemen. He would just prank call her and they got to talking.
I don't know what happened - she said she met him at the beach, and they hung out but she's also a pathological liar, so who knows?
