If you get her then its fine otherwise I don't think it worth the money if she sends her assistance to do her job, as the amount she charges is not a joke, what's the use if one cannot attend to the appoints why even bother to over-book them
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
Xpressoins makeup looks great in the pics..
however, they were not there for me when I needed them, so I will not recommend them ![]()
Dimple all the way :pagli:
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
Xpressions??? are they Ruby & Amber? they think toooooo much about themself, the way they were talking about themself in one of the wedding show as if they are the best and no one can do any job like them, they even tried to put other competitors down about thier job and they (Xpressions) are the best and no one else. (which is not good thing to do) eveyone has their own way of doing one’s job.
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
what really turned me off was that they said htey’d be out of the country for an entire month. I dont know if that’s normal business practice, but i guess they’re so popular they can just reject brides :pagli:
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
One should be honest and say that I'm really booked for the dates that a persons is looking for rather than say they are out of the country, plus why would anyone go out of the country for the entire month (during the busy season) unless for emergency, I think people will respect the person when they're honest rather then trying not to regect the appointment by lying.
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
Hmm I think try going to Suhaag website, its a bridal magazine here and its website have all the vendors. This might help.
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
Also there is Pari boutique in Mississauga, but never tried.

Well this was in January so not busy season at all but i just don't understand how a business can just be out of business for an entire month...that doesn't make sense to me

For sure January is not a busy season, but there is still some wedding happening, if a person is getting so famous, why would a business be out for the month, before they even go out of the country one have to think twice before making plans for vacation. unless as I mentioned if there is emergency one has to leave the country. I guess it is just their attitude just to make people think that they are the best and no one is better then them.
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
dont get me wrong, i liked the work that dimple did im not complaining abt that...
but xpressions was just weird..... =/
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
That's what I meant too, they have attitude (weird kind) anyway what's the hell, that;s just them what can one do right???
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

I am also looking to book zaibi for wedding/valima makeup too but wasn't able to find pictures of her work except for somegroovychick's pics which were great too
thanks
Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?
yeah, she doesn’t have a website yet, so im not surprised you didnt find pics of her makeup.
i’ve tried to find pics that give a better look at her makeup since i don’t have any formal “looking down” portraits. i hope this helps, starry_eyes, and all of y’all else who asked!
mizzrani can you post your sister’s pics too?
as an aside, i went somewhere else to get my hair done… same place as my b’maids, and that lady did not know what she was doing… the beehive she did for me just collapsed under the weight of my dupatta! both zebi and i still lament my decision to not get my hair done with her (zebi) along with my makeup… stupid decision! oh well. i mean, it still looked okay but it could have looked better i think!
