Anyone watching it? It’s written by Bushra Ansari and the first episode has gone on air. I am loving how beautifully Aamina Sheikh has portrayed the character of Pakeeza so far. Great to see her back!
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
I've been following it. The only thing that comes to mind is that Aamina looks old.
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
i watched the first episode and liked it. Aamina does look older thn (but she is,) and also a little healthier. The story seems to be predictable but lets see if it really is.
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
Yeah, but I think her character is supposed to be in early 40s or so because at some point, they showed her daughter getting married in the OST.

It looks good but throwing remote on face is too much. Is physical abuse topic of the drama?
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
^ remember 'Digest Writer' where she gets famous for her writing. This one probably gets famous for her paintings.
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
There maybe more to it? The promos showed her with Adnan Siddiqui and her current hubby hates her because his mother left them for another man. So he definitely has some issues. She will probably end up doing the same?
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
His mom left because of his dad abusive behavior.
He is on footstep of his father… Another Kankar in making. Sanam baloch walk away but she is tolerating because of her daughter.
She and her daughter had discussion.. her daughter said if she ever get in such situation either killed husband or die herself… then background lyrics … dhondho gay kahan ham nayab hian… ![]()
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
so i watched the OST and again kinda have a feeling about what this one will be about.I actually think she will have an affair once her daughter is married. I didn't see anything about her becoming really famous for her work or anything.
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
I am tired of these dramas showing domestic abuse and the women just quietly taking it. If they have to show abuse, I wish they would show a strong woman who is ae to walk out and survive. Jeez. Curious to see how she ends up with Adnan Siddiqui.

I get the feeling the writers are sadistic, showing every 'good woman' putting up with every kind of abuse imaginable.
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
And if he is going to be a jerk, at least shown the woman having a real reaction. yell at him or curse or something. No in is so great to just take it....jeez
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
^ in this case though, she has been married to him for a while...i am pretty sure she has learn not to cruse or yell at him from past experiences.
your comment also reminded me of a drama where Sanam Baloch is in an abusive relationship and she fights to get out of it, i dont remember the name of that drama but it was pretty good.

Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
Yes, i am following it, but i dont know why in every drama, females are shown like so miserable.
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
yay, the story is finally changing :)
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
Bushra Ansari wrote this drama....
No wonder! Is there any drama Bushra Ansari wrote that didn't have such OTT acting and 'Rona' 'Dhona'.
Re: Pakeeza (HUM TV)
She is finally speaking up and making the divorce official! Yay! But I don't undrstand how her daughter is so stupid and demanding. Children in such marriages are usually very sensitive to their mothers' needs and learn to protect her from the father. Instead this girl just whines like a baby all day.
